Another significant protest was held today in Montreal, with tens of thousands of students and their supporters in the street. The protest marked the fifth month of mass rallies in the student strike, since the first mobilization on March 22nd. It came on the eve of the return to class for Quebec students. For those who are interested, here is a schedule of the return to class in the colleges and universities where août is August. Quebec is heading most likely towards an election which will be announced in early August just as the students return to class, and the vote will be in early September.
